OUR COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT
Last year we decided to invest in building a plant to produce electricity with photovoltaic cells to cover some of our needs and reduce environmental impact.
It is minimal compared to our needs, but certainly it's a first step towards a responsible development, which places Verve Spa in the circle of Italian companies than invest in clean and renewable energy.
The extension panel is integrated into the roof of the headquarters of Vedano Olona, on which today there is not one square inch of "Eternit", and then of asbestos.
Technical data:
- Covered area 1500 m2;
- 137 KWp power plant ;
- Annual production: 140.000 KW;
- avings of 71.5 tonnes of CO2 emissions into the environment;
- Start work in January 2010;
- Start of production of electricity from solar Oct. 25th, 2010.
